An ultra-lightweight, windproof layer. Originally made from discarded parachutes during WW2 by SAS Troopers in France prior to D-Day. The Cierzo Shirt uses modern fabrics to create a garment that packs down to a very small size and weighs almost nothing, yet is very effective. Our Cierzo Shirts are manufactured in the UK by the company that provided the silk for the WW2 parachutes!
Use it as a windproof outer layer or a lightweight intermediate layer. Put it under a damp outer layer while it dries out. Throw it in your daysack or in a pouch and whip it out when you need it.
It’s also ideal for wet & dry drills in the jungle.
The camo pattern is designed to be compatible with many of the “multi-terrain” camouflage patterns in use with various Militaries around the world.
New Long size for you Cave Trolls over 6 Feet (180 cm)!
For those who prefer, the garment can be made water repellent and maintain performance by applying Nikwax Tech Wash & TX Direct wash-in products.
The Redback Company Brand Ambassador Glen Steyn from ExpedOrange (https://www.facebook.com/ExpedOrange/) says:
“The shirts are really good. Lightweight and can’t believe how small they pack down to!”
